6km south of Lumut lies Teluk Batik, a perfect spot for family outings and picnics. The warm and calm sea here makes an ideal site for swimming, boating and sunbathing.

The annual Lumut Beach Festival held here around August and September offers a host of exciting programmes including watersports, boat racing and colourful cultural performances.

Tourists can take a coach or taxi from Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur or Butterworth to Lumut. Alternatively, they can take a train to Ipoh, from where they can transfer to a bus or taxi to Lumut.
